Deleted unsourced derogatory information. Stashing on talk page for re-insertion once sourced[edit]

I deleted the folowing copy from the article, and the category political sex scandals, because they were unsourced. Please do not reinsert withoput a reliable source.

On June 13, 1976, Howe was arrested on charges of soliciting two police officers posing as prostitutes. Howe claimed that he was set up and he refused to resign or end his race for re-election.

It it sourced, but I wouldn't call that reliable. However, I found this, this, and this. I say it definitely happened. Paragon12321 02:37, 20 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Third opinion[edit]

A quick look at google news turns up a number of news reports of this. Some of these sources would be usable; I'd say to include it with proper citation. JeremyMcCracken (talk) (contribs) 10:07, 20 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]
