Identity[edit]

There seem to be two possible candidates for this chap in AC:

John Roy Allen - admitted to Pembroke in 1817. The more likely candidate.
Samuel James Allen - admitted to Pembroke 1816

These are the only two Allen's who attended Pembroke at the right sort of time that I can find, but neither record mentions cricket at all. Are there any Pembroke sources that can be used to narrow this down further? Of course, it might be neither of those two... Blue Square Thing (talk) 11:20, 23 January 2019 (UTC)[reply]
