Discussion

She went to Los Alamitos High school, california. I know this because she is in my year book.

Damn, could people please pay attention to their SPELLING.

Is she of German origin, or was she simply born in Germany? The current bio implies that she is of German origin. My impression has been that she was born in Germany during a stint of her father's in Preez.

That's the story I believe. Just an accident of birth. Mad Jack 06:38, 2 September 2006 (UTC)
Mack is German surname, though.

Picture

Why don't we just use the picture used in the Chloe Sullivan article?Cwattengard 06:36, 24 August 2007 (UTC)

Because this article is about Allison Mack, not Chloe Sullivan. Yeah, sounds loopy, but that's the way the fair-use rules work. Pretty much the only way to get a usable picture in an article for a celebrity is for a Wikipedian to take one themselves. Like someone did recently of Jensen Ackles at Comic-Con. -Ebyabe 15:59, 24 August 2007 (UTC)

Filmography/Television

I've added a table chart to organize her appearance in films and tv series. Beachdude0213 (talk) 06:29, 24 December 2007 (UTC)
Also i put up the article photo and the Early Life, Career, Personal Life dividers to organize Mack's Biography. Hope it helps! Beachdude0213 (talk) 06:32, 24 December 2007 (UTC)

German actress??

I dispute the statement that Allison Mack "is a German film and television actress." She was born in Germany, to be sure, but (to the best of my knowledge) her parents are not German, she is not and never has been a citizen of Germany, and she hasn't lived there since she was a baby. I would propose changing the text to say that she is an American actress. Comments? Richwales (talk) 02:45, 29 January 2008 (UTC)

Death??

An IP-anon added a claim that Allison had died within the last 24 hours. The only "source" I could find for this claim was a post on a blog associated with the Sydney Morning Herald, and another blogger who quoted the first blog post and added that he had no idea if it was true or not. I searched CNN, CBC, USA Today, Fox News, the Seattle Post-Intelligencer, and the Vancouver Sun — none of which made any mention of this supposed story. I also searched possibly less reliable sources such as MTV, TV Guide, IMDB, and Allison's official web site, and they were also totally silent on the matter. The claim has now been removed from this article; obviously, it shouldn't go back until and unless the event is reported in reliable news sources. LoL

In May 2010 it was announced that Mack will not be appearing as a series regular on the final season of Smallville, but will return for several episodes. At the 2010 San Diego Comic Con it was mentioned that Allison Mack may still be considered a series regular, as she would appear in several episodes.

Is this line supposed to make the reader laugh? Because it actually does. --93.33.227.44 (talk) 23:49, 29 April 2011 (UTC)
