Range map[edit]

The cited source, a website of the US Fish & Wildlife Service, shows the range map for this insect, consisting of the highlighted states of Tennessee, North Carolina, and Virginia. This map is visible under the "Range Information" tab. On two of the computers from which I've accessed the webpage, the map is immediately visible. On a third computer, it was not. I'm retaining the link because it points to an excellent map on a reputable website; before rejecting the source link, please keep platform dependence in mind.

Notability[edit]

I initially created this article to resolve a dead link found elsewhere on the site because several Allocapnia species have Wikipedia entries already, while this one does not. This proposed new article, though a stub, is more comprehensive than existing stub articles on Allocapnia pygmaea and Allocapnia recta, for example. As for the criterion of notability, any extant species of animal, especially one encountered in daily life, seems inherently notable.

I'm almost completely sure this article would be notable. I think the main reason for rejection previously was due to the lack of sources for verifiability, but now that you've added many more sources, I think I'll accept the article. :)--SkyGazer 512 Oh no, what did I do this time? 16:05, 4 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]
