Concerned Wiki User[edit]

Hello,

I first submitted my wikipedia article titled "The California Almond Industry" almost a month ago and it has not been accepted nor rejected even once. I understand that articles are not reviewed in any particular order, but I am hoping mine will be reviewed soon. At this point I am just a little concerned because this submission is also for a grade at my university. Thank you very much :)

Ideal conditions?![edit]

The world's thirstiest crop is grown en masse in the one single state with the biggest water problems and wildfires, on government subsidies. It is utter craziness. "ideal conditions for commercial cultivation of the crop" is pure lobbyist propaganda and it needs to be rephrased immediately. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=glz-Pm6HUG0 Cancun (talk) 20:55, 28 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]

History?[edit]

It would be great to at least know when almonds started being grown commercially in California. Some growth points too. It's 80% of the world's almond production now. Do we know when it hit 50%? ThornyHemlock (talk) 13:15, 4 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Move discussion in progress[edit]

There is a move discussion in progress on Talk:California grape cultivation which affects this page. Please participate on that page and not in this talk page section. Thank you. —RMCD bot 23:50, 24 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]
