Sourcing

[edit]

Footnote 1 includes a DOI that leads to an entirely different review of the book than the one cited. Are any of the current uses of Footnote 1 meant to be cited to that other review? Nikkimaria (talk) 12:07, 30 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Weird! No, I'll remove it. Also, why do you keep removing the wikidata infobox? I prefer to add metadata there, rather than just in the infobox. If you have any particular reason, I would be curious to hear about it. Jlevi (talk) 12:44, 30 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]
It has issues with regards to formatting and overspecificity, and I don't see any associated benefit that would outweigh those concerns. This version is cleaner and includes the missing genre. Nikkimaria (talk) 20:43, 30 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Formatting preference seems rather in the eye of the beholder. Further, I intend to add metadata primarily through the wikidata interface for now, and I prefer those modifications show up automatically. Given that I am actively adding content to the page, I would like to keep the infobox as I initially included it for that reason. Once the page is more stable, perhaps we can chat about this matter again. Sound fair? Jlevi (talk) 21:49, 30 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]
What is your proposed timeframe? Nikkimaria (talk) 01:04, 1 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Just depends on how much additional content I find. Jlevi (talk) 01:08, 1 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]
As it's been a week since either the article or the Wikidata item have been changed, I've restored the local version. Nikkimaria (talk) 10:54, 8 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]
