Untitled[edit]

This is social history, in the 1890s bloomer girls played up and down the U.S. There was a womens baseball team at Vassar, the Resolutes, but Alta Weiss seems to have been one of the best players of those days. Her uniform is in the National Baseball Hall of Fame and Museum. Sayerslle (talk) 18:47, 4 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

A web page at the museum here mentions Alta Weiss' name, but little else about her (the page is for instruction guidance). 69.119.24.98 (talk) 02:42, 28 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]
She was inducted into the Ragersville, Ohio Hall of Fame in 2005, probably October 20, 2004.[1] 69.119.24.98 (talk) 02:59, 28 September

Plagiarism?[edit]

The middle paragraph, about her career, appears to be lifted word-for-word from the Ken Burns baseball documentary. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 70.31.3.167 (talk) 07:38, 13 December 2015 (UTC)[reply]
