POV problem

[edit]

The article as currently written looks biased toward the singer. It's possible the article was taken directly from an album jacket or written by the singer or someone related. Needs some cleanup to remain neutral. Dugwiki 18:45, 29 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]

No POV problem

[edit]

Re: the initial posting. I'm the author of the original entry. I'm not Matthew Sweet nor am I related or connected to Matthew Sweet in any way. I am a fan. The entry was written entirely by me, and no part of the entry whatsoever was taken from the album or album notes or any promotional material from Matthew Sweet or his record label. The only quote (other than song lyrics) in my entry was taken from Rolling Stone magazine and is, in fact, a negative review of the record in question.

Producer credit

[edit]

Allmusic.com and various online feature stories list ex-Fleetwood Mac producer Richard Dashut as the producer for Altered Beast. I notice currently Sweet and Maher are listed here. I don't have the CD, so I don't know how the credits read...perhaps different tracks have different producer credits? Or the Wikipedia entry has a typo? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 198.86.248.55 (talk) 15:12, 16 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Japanese release track listing?

[edit]

Should this entry reflect the track listing of the Japanese release of the album, which was different? Or should it go under a separate entry? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 76.167.136.139 (talk) 23:19, 31 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Release date

[edit]

Release date updated to 13 July 1993. Information source: Amazon.com and Music Brainz. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 76.167.136.139 (talk) 23:21, 31 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Fair use rationale for Image:Msalteredbeast.jpg

[edit]

Image:Msalteredbeast.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation can be deleted one week after being tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.
