Amali dynastyAmal dynasty – The Latin plural does not belong with the word "dynasty". The proposed term is widely used. Srnec (talk) 04:50, 9 December 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Support. As per nominator's rationale. Borsoka (talk) 09:10, 9 December 2018 (UTC)[reply]
Support. There does appear to be a bit of usage of "Amali dynasty" in recent literature (so a redirect from the current title should probably be left, even if it is incorrect) but, rather damningly, almost all of this seems to postdate the renaming of this article (from Amali) in 2011. Otherwise, "Amal dynasty" seems to be most common in recent academic literature, with "Amali" (by itself) or "Amals" rather less common alternatives and "Amalian dynasty", "Amaling dynasty" or "Amalung dynasty" (or "Amalians", "Amalings" or "Amalungs") as older alternatives that are still occasionally being used. I would remark that there are almost exactly the same issues with the current naming of Balti dynasty. PWilkinson (talk) 15:06, 9 December 2018 (UTC)[reply]
I moved Balti dynasty to Balt dynasty. Again, a quick Google Books search shows virtually no usage for the former term but a bunch of usage (in RS) for the latter. Srnec (talk) 23:46, 9 December 2018 (UTC)[reply]
Support. I think we should keep the redirect though.--Ermenrich (talk) 15:08, 10 December 2018 (UTC)[reply]
