# Support - sensible move to a more professional looking title. TerriersFan 01:52, 20 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Comment; Article titles aren't decided on the basis of how "professional" they look, the main factor is the most commonly used name of the subject. Masaruemoto 00:47, 21 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]
  1. Strong oppose; This goes against Wikipedia policy. This singer is almost exclusively known as "Amanda", so the title should stay as it is. We never use surnames to disambiguate people who are most commonly known by a single name. See; Madonna (entertainer), Ashanti (singer), Jem (singer), Iman (model), Usher (entertainer), Jewel (singer), etc, etc. Masaruemoto 00:47, 21 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]
  2. Oppose - you are right, on reflection. TerriersFan 20:16, 21 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

It was requested that this article be renamed but there was no consensus for it be moved. --Stemonitis 21:09, 24 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]
