Saw II[edit]

I'm a bit worried that the Saw II section is overlong, but unlike Jigsaw, her character is a bit dependent on the plot to be explained. Any suggestions, or is it the fine the way it is??--CyberGhostface 20:01, 20 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I think it's a bit too long. Amanda's character is dependent on the plot to a certain extent, but the Saw II section should be trimmed. --KittyCollier 16:24, 21 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Pics[edit]

I think there's too many pics for this article... it's flooded with them. Like, do we need the ones with Lynn or Adam? Jack Of Hearts | Miss A Turn 07:23, 25 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Adam, yes as it was a fairly important part (although if anyone has any good DVD shots of Amanda killing Adam that might be better). Lynn, I don't know. I only added that at the time because it was the only Amanda-centric Saw III photo that I could find.--CyberGhostface 17:34, 25 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Should it be removed then (the Lynn one)? Jack Of Hearts | Miss A Turn 02:50, 2 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]
I removed the Lynn one and moved the death one to the forefront of the final section.--CyberGhostface 01:01, 7 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Status[edit]

I think Amanda's status should be instead listed as Unknown or Pending, because although the recent MTV article confirmed her death as well as Jigsaw's, I would take it with a grain of salt, seeing as with Saw III it was "confirmed" that Donnie Wahlberg wouldn't return for that film when in fact he did. There has even been some speculation if the filmmakers have just been trying to mislead the fans with Shawnee Smith's possible return as they did with Wahlberg last time. I think it would be best if instead of Amanda's status being listed as deceased it should be either Pending or Unknown but most likely dead. It's kind of like with Dr. Gordon, in that his fate is still unclear although it seems likely that he's dead. For that matter Jigsaw's status should be listed the same as well, since it's difficult to determine for sure until the film is released and some "confirmations" may just be the exact opposite. Even though both Amanda and Jigsaw are most likely dead, I think it would be best if for now their statuses are both listed as Unknown but most likely dead, since the confirmations may be the opposite after what was done with Wahlberg in Saw III and it would be best to wait until the film's release to know for sure if either one is dead or not.

But if Dr. Gordon was officially declared to be dead, then it would be original research to declare otherwise. If Amanda is declared to be dead in an official source, we can't make speculation. If she's alive and well in the next film then we can modify her article.--CyberGhostface 14:32, 16 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Fair use rationale for Image:Jigsawcomfortingamanda.PNG[edit]

Shouldn't Lawrence Gordon be considered a fellow apprentice?[edit]

Since Lawrence was helping Jigsaw during the events of SAW 2 - 4, it's a major possibility that he helped out Amanda with setting up her "games" too. There's no credible evidence that the two actually interacted or even acknowledged eachothers involvement (as of yet anyways, SAW X or another prequel-sequel/sequel-prequel/whatever might address this). Just saying that there's no way that Amanda was able to set up Kerry's game (the "Angel Trap") without the help of a medical professional, and Lawrence seems to be the most likely suspect. 84.64.130.209 (talk) 14:29, 29 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]

The almighty MikeAllen has spoken and cast his law, and what he edits go's apparently. 84.64.130.209 (talk) 18:30, 30 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]
