It is widespread along roads and near cultivation. It is common in Great Basin^[1].

Description

It has red taproot^[2].

Similar Plants

Amaranthus retroflexus is similar to Amaranthus graecizands; the similarities are: habitat (it is widespread along roads and near cultivation), description (it has spoon-shaped leaves and red taproot)^[3]. Differences are that, in description, its stems can be 4" to 24" in height, and that it is prostrate (positioned and grows flat along the ground, in length), except when very young^[4].

About

This information, in my perspective, is only minorly respectable, or, official, as one might understand from the references.
