The fourth paragraph has a sentence that just trails off to nothing: "But, with the course of time, Ambala has been su" [sic].

Fixed. JenLouise 06:44, 21 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Very biased material...[edit]

I guess this article has been written by people from Army School, as it contains biased and hallowing stuff about teachers from the school. I had deleted it earlier, but someone reinstated.

Additionally, I do not think a few people mentioned herein deserve a mention. This page needs to be closely watched, as it highlights mundane people. And yes, it needs loads of copy editing.

I didn't notice any POV material so it looks like its been fixed. Certainly the original POV paragraph about the ARMy School has been reworded so I have removed the POV tag. JenLouise 06:44, 21 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Copyedit[edit]

I have copyedited the article and removed the copyedit tag. I have also improved the tone of the article in some areas to make it read more like an encyclopaedic article rather than a tour guide's spiel. JenLouise 06:44, 21 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Biased material still there...[edit]

Hi,

Please see the following paragraph.

Its hardworking and efficient staff [Mrs. Kum Kum Chopra (Eng), Mrs. Anoop Bajwa (Geo) Mr. J. Varghese (Eco), Mr. Harmeet Singh (Maths), Mrs. Nirmal Sharma (Hindi) and etc..] has been the key reason for this achievement. The school has been known for its great disciplinarian nature and also for it academics merged with extra curricullar activities. For girls even Convent of Jesus and Mary is also one of the good options.

I completely agree. Army School is more of a large area where herds of students throng. Convent of Jesus and Mary is trhe best school of Ambala without doubt.

I am a native of this town, and none of these people merit a mention in this article. In addition, the stuff related to the "superiority" of the Army school is unfounded and not backed by any evidence. It is a fairly ordinary school, just like any other.

I've tried to remove biased material like this on many occasions, but these people seem to be at it full time!

What's the solution? I am particularly concerned, since a few sections of this article have come out very well.

Thanks.
