- Clarification? First the article says that emergency medicine is associated with hospital admission and so is not ambulatory care, then it says one of the categories of ambulatory care is emergency medical care. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Junckerg (talkcontribs) 23:13, 25 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I made some clarifications (with references) on accepted definitions and settings of ambulatory care across health-care systems, with distinction in overlap with emergency medicine and relevance to hospital admission. Hope this helps. Guptan99 (talk) 16:33, 14 April 2014 (UTC)[reply]
