Austria/Usa

[edit]

Shouldnt there be a history og the weapon? A real one i mean? For example mentioning that in the beginning an austrian company produced this formidable weapon. 85.177.220.224 (talk) 16:33, 7 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]

"this formidable weapon" ? It's a .22 It's interesting, and novel, and probably a lot of fun, and I wouldn't stand in front of it, but "formidable" ? Not especially ... (It would be cool on the top wing of a WW I replica Spad or something) 203.160.80.114 (talk) 17:41, 5 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]

American SAR 180/275

[edit]

I think there should be a mention of the semi-auto-only version. 68.116.112.64 15:59, 8 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

gun wight

[edit]

That 260 g seems to me way too low! Isn't it rather 2600 g? I'm not very familiar with weapons, but 1/4 kg for a submachinegun is improbable for sure, since even the most pistols wight more than 1 kg! —Preceding unsigned comment added by 82.131.183.71 (talk) 20:29, 27 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Modern Firearms lists it at 2.6 kg unloaded, so I'll update the infobox. --UnneededAplomb (talk) 19:38, 18 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

.22 short magnum?

[edit]

I can't seem to find any info on anything called a .22 short magnum as mentioned in the window on the right side of the article. Does anyone know anything about it?Longinus876 (talk) 11:32, 21 May 2014 (UTC)[reply]

I've added a couple cites to the article. In a nutshell, it was a .22 WMR shortened to the length of a .22 LR for this particular weapons system. It never went into full, mass production, and it is a pretty rare cartridge these days.--Surv1v4l1st Talk|Contribs 20:23, 21 July 2017 (UTC)[reply]
