Austin Wild[edit]

@Yosemiter: For some reason, I saw on SIF's page that Austin Wild was joining AAL and not Cape Fear, while as you said, the Heroes announced in their press conference today that they joined the AAL. I'm kinda confused at this point. jd22292 (Jalen D. Folf) (talk) 01:10, 24 August 2017 (UTC)[reply]

@Jd22292: When they self-publisheer their name change on their website, it had a big AAL banner and said they had joined a Western Division with Tampico and Sacramento. They next day, they removed the banner and edited the article to say they were in "serious discussions" with the AAL. Yosemiter (talk) 01:13, 24 August 2017 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks. Will refrain from making edits in regards to the team. jd22292 (Jalen D. Folf) (talk) 01:14, 24 August 2017 (UTC)[reply]
I never added it because it looked suspect. The Torch also list several teams that have not been announced or are not listed on the AAL page. The CenPenn Chargers are still posting like they are members as well. Kinda telling about the level of the league. Yosemiter (talk) 01:16, 24 August 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Is AAL Still a Thing ?[edit]

As of July 2023, the league website still promises the league and its new, presumably developmental subsidiary, were to launch "Spring 2023", which obviously didn't happen. I don't want to assume anything, but it seems pretty unlikely that this league will ever restart. 2600:1004:B11A:6F6E:0:55:14A4:8B01 (talk) 15:39, 11 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]

The AAL2 is currently playing, implying it might come back at some point.Ccui123 (talk) 16:22, 11 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]
