March 2007

[edit]

Hello all, and thank you for contributing to this school site. I'm part of the Wikipedia:WikiProject_Schools/Assessment team, and, as requested, I'm reviewing this page. I'm currently giving it a grade of B on the Wikipedia 1.0 Assessment Scale and an importance of Mid on this importance scale.

My reasoning is as follows: This article is extensive, but perhaps too much so. A lot of the "Controversy" statements are biased and uncited. It needs more work to meet the WP:NPOV standards. It also needs some Copy editing. Adam McCormick 06:26, 6 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

26% African American

[edit]

HAHAHAHAHA American doesn't even come close to that.

POV, Tense, Organization

[edit]

A lot of the language—especially the verbage—used in this article carries POV, and should be made more neutral (WP:NPOV). Additionally, parts of the article seem to be written in present tense, and consequently suffer from potentially outdated information (WP:MoS). Lastly, as stated earlier, the article is extensive and runs the risk of being excessively so; the article could be reorganized with more subtitles or appropriately cut down (especially w/ information on the facilities). Use of "Traditional"

[edit]

As used, “traditional” seems to refer to a span of just a few years familiar to the original author rather than for the entire history of the school since its opening in 1972.

Graduations were originally held at Tak Fudenna Stadium. Research is needed to point to what is actually traditional.W2012 (talk) 19:02, 14 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]
