Biopic?[edit]

Here is the WIki definition of this term - "A biographical picture— often shortened to biopic— is a film that dramatizes the life of an actual person or people. They differ from films “based on a true story” or “historic films” in that they attempt to comprehensively tell a person’s life story or at least the most historically important years of their lives." American Hot Wax covers the week before the rock 'n' roll concert that began Freed's decline. Early in the film an engineer or producer asks Freed about the concert this week. The film ends with the concert. It does not attempt to cover his entire life, although his past and his future were metioned. I was disappointed that his early days in Cleveland were not covered.
