This is way NPOV. Someone who cares should fix it. The US is not the source of all evil. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 80.33.158.121 (talk) 19:04, 19 October 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Separation of Pulitzer Hearst section from info about news in Middle West

[edit]

The article cited, by Auxier, George W. (citation 4) describes a non-trivial difference between the propaganda strategy used by Hearst and Pulitzer and how the war was promoted in the Middle West. Maybe there should be a new section describing the nature of propaganda in the Midwest at this time as Hearst and Pulitzer were based in NYC. — Preceding unsigned comment added by AgathoclesDeSyracuse (talkcontribs) 14:55, 5 April 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Change name to "American propaganda of the Spanish-American War" or include Spanish propaganda

[edit]

Considering that this article is all about US propaganda of the war, shouldn't the name be changed to "American propaganda of the Spanish-American War"? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 85.251.133.171 (talk) 16:40, September 29, 2021 (UTC)}

My thoughts exactly. I've renamed this. The name can be changed if the article is expanded. I've also created the stub on Propaganda in Spain where this could be discussed from the Spanish perspectve, --Piotr Konieczny aka Prokonsul Piotrus| reply here 11:35, 27 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]
