Doubtful records in Arizona[edit]

My source is 'A Birder's Guide to Southeastern Arizona' by James A. Lane (1974), p. 69. There are reports that the Lampornis amethystinus was observed in Ramsey Canyon and Cave Creek Canyon (both in Cochise County). Author speculates that one or, perhaps, both, were misidentified or were hybrids. @Mmslouis db-user db-user (talk) 19:43, 4 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]
