Erm?[edit]

If the name is first attested in 705AD as "Hacmunderness" then how can the "current view" be that the area is named after a Norse warlord called Agmundr who died in a battle in 910AD...unless he enjoyed biblical longevity. I am deleting this reference to Agmundr because it is obviously bunkum.Aetheling1125 20:11, 27 October 2014 (UTC)

Co-ordinates for Amounderness[edit]

Co-ordinates for the hundred have put it too far south. Try 54.04W x 2.85W. --Oldontarian (talk) 18:08, 13 September 2018 (UTC)[reply]

No, the coords look OK to me. The point you have specified in Lonsdale Hundred. Look at the map "Hundreds of Lancashire" within the article. -- Dr Greg  talk  18:28, 13 September 2018 (UTC)[reply]
