Age / DOB ?

[edit]

In a May, 2011, TED Talk, she mentions it being 11 years since she lost her legs, making her around 30 years old as of May 2011. Can anyone confirm a more accurate date of birth? — Preceding unsigned comment added by Samatva (talkcontribs) 02:20, 7 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Amy Purdy here.

[edit]

Hi! I just came across myself on Wikipedia. Id like to note that the bio is written accuratly. Although I would like to make additions if possible. I would like to add... "Purdy has gone on to co-found her own non-profit "Adaptive Action Sports" www.adaptiveactionsports.com for individuals with disabilities who want to get involved in action sports (snowboarding, skateboarding, surfing) and or art and music."

Thanks, Amy — Preceding unsigned comment added by 24.127.109.178 (talkcontribs) 18:58, January 22, 2006
