Merger proposal: Merge Hemiamyloidity and Melzer's_reagent#Reactions into this article
[edit]Amyloid, dextrinoid, and hemiamyloid reactions really are a set of related reactions using similar reagents. The articles should be merged and everything discussed in one place. The merged article contains a great deal of detail about the hemiamyloid reaction and can be regarded as reasonably complete, but the section on standard amyloid vs dextrinoid reactions should be expanded. Much of the section Melzer's_reagent#Reactions could be merged into this article as well, leaving a shorter outline of Melzer's reagent reactions in that article. - Merger complete. (for Hemiamyloidity) Klbrain (talk) 09:30, 5 September 2021 (UTC)
- Regarding the merge from Melzer's_reagent#Reactions, the key problem for me is that that section is integral to the Melzer's_reagent. Given this, rather than merging, I suggest that a section transclusion be used so that readers of both pages can see that helpful content. Klbrain (talk) 09:41, 5 September 2021 (UTC)
