Ana Kasparian has been shifting in a more centrist political direction over the last year, being critical of progressive and mainstream reporting on things like the Kyle Rittenhouse trial, crime spikes in the US, etc. She discusses this at length in a TYT segment from July 2023 and in the following podcast interviews:
Among other factors, she credits reading Jonathan Haidt, as well as an experience of sexual assault by a street criminal in Los Angeles for her shift in perspective. Since her political views are a topic of one of the sections of the articles, her more recent views (and possibly other's reception of this shift) are worth discussing.
