Khalidiya Island[edit]

"Khalidya Island" is located right between Ramadi and Fallujah, and it actually refers to an area between the villages of Albu Nasir and Albu Sajal. The coordinates of this region is linked below, if anyone wants to know where it is. I decided to add this since the place isn't really an island, and because I had such a hard time figuring out exactly where it was.

Orphaned references in Anbar offensive (2015–present)[edit]

I check pages listed in Category:Pages with incorrect ref formatting to try to fix reference errors. One of the things I do is look for content for orphaned references in wikilinked articles. I have found content for some of Anbar offensive (2015–present)'s orphans, the problem is that I found more than one version. I can't determine which (if any) is correct for this article, so I am asking for a sentient editor to look it over and copy the correct ref content into this article.

Reference named "independent1":

  • From Operation Breaking Terrorism: "ISIS leader of fallujah killed by US airstrike". The Independent. Retrieved 27 May 2016.
  • From Iraq War: Cockburn, Patrick (20 May 2006). "Iraq is disintegrating as ethnic cleansing takes hold". The Independent. London. Archived from the original on 2 February 2010. Retrieved 23 October 2010. {{cite news}}: Unknown parameter |deadurl= ignored (|url-status= suggested) (help)

I apologize if any of the above are effectively identical; I am just a simple computer program, so I can't determine whether minor differences are significant or not. AnomieBOT 20:17, 28 May 2016 (UTC)[reply]
