External links modified (January 2018)[edit]

Hello Wikipedians, It seems like there are two of the same articles- one titled Andisol and the other Andosol, should they be merged or left alone? Wetlandlover55 (talk) 15:47, 8 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Hi! Andosols and Andisols are defined in different soil classification systems: Soil Taxonomy (Andisols) and WRB (Andosols). Merging the articles would corrupt the logic and completeness of the classifiacioon systems. But it seemed that the article Andosols copied terms, definitions and subdivisions form the article Andisols, which only exist in Soil Taxonomy and not in WRB.
