I'm not denying it might have happened (this was a hideously bloody era in a hideously bloody region), but I'd really prefer to see a citation for the story about cannabalizing the embryo. User:64.12.117.7, an AOL IP address, contributed that detail; I wonder if she would come back and tell us where it came from? "bloody era in a hideously bloody region" - see people like you should not be making history at all - if you are going to be so biased - I suppose the massacre and rape of slaves does not matter, what they did to their masters on the other hand, yes, that was "hideously bloody" - not to compare human suffering here, but the point is, it's very sad to see people coming with such narrow mindedness and they want to write history — Preceding unsigned comment added by 24.203.112.42 (talkcontribs)

The massacre and rape of slaves is exactly what I was referring to in saying that the era was hideously bloody. What do you expect? Of course a slave revolt is going to be bloody too, given what they're up against. I don't know why you consider that comment to be "biased", "sad" and "narrow minded".
