Lead

[edit]

An IP keeps inserting a lengthy quotation into the lead. However, that sort of quotation does not belong in the lead; it's poorly formatted; and that information is adequately covered elsewhere in the article. -- Irn (talk) 22:42, 21 August 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Cherokee claim

[edit]

@User:TulsaPoliticsFan Did Smith claim to be a citizen or descendant of the Cherokee Nation specifically or did she just make a general claim of ancestry? I wasn't sure, but I thought I recalled she claimed to be Cherokee Nation. I'm trying to sort through and find people who claimed a specific tribe. See: Category:American people who self-identify as being of Eastern Band Cherokee descent. Other than Ward Churchill, I don't know anyone else who has claimed UKB. Thanks.
