Untitled[edit]

Anyone else see his programme this evening on BBC4? I could have sworn the credits listed him as "Andrew Graham Dixon". Deb 22:26, 17 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Yes, it was him - Graham-Dixon. It was called 'Dreams and Hammers'; talking about the destruction of art in Britain during and after Henry VIII. This art was mostly religious at the time and continental Europe did not have the same problem. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 172.188.140.117 (talk) 21:04, 25 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Documentation[edit]

"In 1994, Graham-Dixon won the first prize in the Reportage section in the Montreal International Festival Of Films for a documentary film about Théodore Géricault's painting The Raft of the Medusa. "

can this statement be documented please? === Vernon White (talk) 23:08, 15 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Courtauld?[edit]

Article does not state when A G-D was at the Courtauld, although it is so categorised. === Vernon White (talk) 23:18, 15 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

The Art of Italy and Travels with Vasari[edit]

Is The Art of Italy (listed in this article) the same series as Travels with Vasari (see IMDB and Graham-Dixon's website, which don't mention The Art of Italy)? A Google search suggests so. Was the title changed for a later broadcast date or something? I remember it being broadcast as Travels with Vasari. Ham 11:29, 30 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Me too. Johnbod (talk) 20:56, 30 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Primaler[edit]

User:Primaler has a section on User titled "Articles I look after" with A G-D being one of those listed, have suggested they see WP: OWN, and am noting it here as per the direction given.--Artiquities (talk) 20:54, 1 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Foo, many people have these, in fact there is a template for them. Wait till you see evidence of excessive owning behaviour. Johnbod (talk) 00:48, 2 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Oh, great, so now, besides shamelessly plugging YBA, you're also talking crazy. Primaler (talk) 11:02, 2 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]
In addition to WP:OWN, plse also see WP:NPA and WP:CIV. --Artiquities (talk) 12:42, 2 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]

The Art of Scandinavia[edit]

When listing how Andrew Graham Dixon has presented programmes about the art of specific parts of the world, it could mention how he has presented a series called "The Art of Scandinavia". Vorbee (talk) 21:01, 13 November 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Personal Life[edit]

This section states that he has four children, when the citation only mentions three. Either one or the other is incorrect, so perhaps remove the statement altogether? 2603:7080:C838:E0E3:A401:52D:2493:4B2E (talk) 00:16, 18 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]
