Oppose None of the other names are spelled exactly like "Andrew McCormick" with no middle name. "Andrew McCormick" is the only one with that exact name, so it makes sense for him to have the namespace. I have changed the hatnote on the article to one that is more suitable for the article._{ZXCVBNM (TALK)} 17:39, 5 October 2017 (UTC)[reply]
Oppose None of the articles share the same name so the hat note is sufficient. Were the change to go through anyway it should be changed to Andrew McCormick (rugby union) rather than (footballer). Skeene88 (talk) 19:39, 8 October 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Nationality[edit]

This article and its categorization describes McCormick as naturalized Japanese, but I can't immediately find any evidence that this is the case. One article states that he did NOT qualify for the national rugby team based on nationality, but rather based on continuous residence. Sekicho (talk) 03:08, 24 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]
