Untitled[edit]

Long lists of lesser known awards bogs down the page; I also suggest the long list of anthologies and articles written mentions perhaps be pared down - writers write, perhaps a limited list after the text would be better; this isn't his personal website, so omitting a complete or extensive list of lesser writings and journalism may be best. Someone want to add a photo to the page? It needs to be w/permission or in public domain.71.190.73.163 (talk) 07:12, 25 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Much material unreferenced. Some material can only have been sourced from the subject. Both are classic signs of the self-Wikipedian! — Preceding unsigned comment added by 81.159.115.147 (talk) 11:40, 11 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]

My series of edits[edit]

I'm Andrew Solomon's research assistant and citation-wrangler for his new book, and hereby declare my COI. I have just posted an extensive revision of the page, weeding out outdated information and adding new information, and incorporating references to as many reliable third-party sources as possible. There are plenty of them; if I have erred in this regard, I have done so in pursuit of verifiability. I have made every effort to make this revision accurate, current, encyclopedic, neutral in tone, well-written and well-organized. Hope it's useful. --KathleenSeidel (talk) 21:18, 13 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Bibliography[edit]

I have commenced a tidy-up of the Bibliography section using cite templates. Capitalization and punctuation follow standard cataloguing rules in AACR2 and RDA, as much as Wikipedia templates allow it. ISBNs and other persistent identifiers, where available, are commented out, but still available for reference. This is a work in progress; feel free to continue. While I would prefer capitalization and punctuation to follow the standard cataloguing rules referred to above, the Wikipedia Manual of Style at WP:MOS requires "title case". I will make changes accordingly. Sunwin1960 (talk) 06:20, 20 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]
