Top section needs improvement[edit]

The first sentence: "Social rules typically restrict people's dress according to gender" needs to be more specific. It's clear from the header section that we're talking about specific societies, at specific times, and this should be made clear in the article. Perhaps the title should also be changed to specify which fashion traditions we are talking about? --Morvram (talk) 13:07, 21 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]
