Merge proposal

[edit]

The "Everett Events Center" was renamed when Comcast purchased the naming rights in '07. The transitional name of "Comcast Arena at Everett Events Center" was temporary and was phased out in January of 2008. Currently the name is "Comcast Arena at Everett" which refers to the entire building, which also houses the "Comcast Community Ice Rink" and the "Edward D. Hansen Conference Center" 9/22 4:24PM Cp09 (talk) 23:25, 22 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

These appear to be for the same venue. If they are, the three should be merged. It looks like Comcast Arena at Everett Events Center is the correct venue name. Patken4 (talk) 01:14, 16 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Definitely merge into Everett Events Center. The "Comcast Arena at Everett Events Center" is a specific use/partition of the entire Everett Events Center. An article on Everett Events Center would ideally cover other uses of the facility. — Twas Now ( talkcontribse-mail ) 03:00, 16 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]
A normal merge is insufficient because the page was cut & paste moved here so the page history is now split. I have posted it for repair via a history merge. —Elipongo (Talk contribs) 06:21, 23 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]
