What was her sin? I wonder how bad it was.--Sonjaaa 19:25, 6 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Saint?

[edit]

Is she a saint? Should she be distinguished from Saint Angela? WLU (talk) 16:20, 31 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

NOT incorrupt

[edit]

No, she was never canonized. This article correctly identifies her as "Blessed."

However, I just removed a reference to her body being incorrupt--it is NOT!!! Angela of Foligno's remains are enclosed in a hollow statue (made of polished wood or ceramic or something similar). I was just there a couple of weeks ago, after reading this entry, and searched the entire church for any reference to Blessed Angela being incorrupt--there is absolutely nothing. I examined the statue closely from only a few feet away, and what you see is DEFINITELY a statue, not Angela herself! Cathy9999 (talk) 12:40, 24 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]
