Different songs?[edit]

Although the article states that "Angelina Baker" and "Angeline the Baker" are the same song, I find conflicting assertions when looking around on the Web. Dan G. Dirges plays a version of "Angelina Baker" on YouTube that he specifically states should NOT be confused with "Angeline the Baker." https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HEh22un6DUU And a website devoted to the music of Stephen Foster offers quite different lyrics than the ones in the article: http://www.stephen-foster-songs.de/foster064.htm In both those instances, "Angelina Baker" is said to be specifically about a slave who's been sold, leaving behind her heartbroken lover. 11 Arlington (talk) 23:00, 17 April 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Score[edit]

The score is in the process of being digitized by the University of Pittsburgh libraries. It may be available in 2011.Pustelnik (talk) 01:27, 23 November 2010 (UTC) The digitized 1850 score has been published by the Univeristy of Pittsburgh, retrieved 26 November 2014. The lyric differs from that cited by Lofgren. Angelina Baker score --Hbrydle (talk) 01:20, 27 November 2014 (UTC)[reply]

tune is more essential[edit]

The tune is more essential here than the lyrics. Please add representations of the tune to the article. Please add analysis and discussion of the tune.-71.174.178.251 (talk) 16:12, 4 July 2014 (UTC)[reply]

There is an external link to a copyrighted performance, I hope this helps.
