Oppose. The article is currently about her, not the event. If the article is rewritten to be about the event, then the title could be changed. Frankly, I think 1E is overzealous, and articles like this one make sense the way it is. --В²C☎17:13, 22 June 2015 (UTC)[reply]
Why is this person notable enough to have her own article but Casey Anthony, who is tremendously more famous and notable, is not? 217IP (talk) 01:28, 23 June 2015 (UTC)[reply]
You can view the Casey Anthony talk page where the decision was made for her to not have her own article. The same reasons apply here: Ms. Rodriguez is not notable at all outside this single event, and the event is not notable enough to justify a biography (otherwise we'd have tens of thousands of new biographies every year just for murderers). This article is a great example of why WP:1E exists and this seems to be the way it is enforced everywhere else. You can also view WP:CRIME, which says there should only be a BLP article if it is a well-documented historic event which this is very obviously not. 217IP (talk) 02:39, 26 June 2015 (UTC)[reply]
I disagree with 1E too. What difference does it make if the notability is from one event? What about Rosa Parks? --В²C☎16:35, 26 June 2015 (UTC)[reply]
Rosa Parks was a significant figure in a well-documented historic event, Ms. Rodriguez was not. The issue is not that Ms. Rodriguez is only notable for a single event, the issue is that the single event she is known for is not notable. 217IP (talk) 16:45, 26 June 2015 (UTC)[reply]
There shouldn't be, this article is currently being discussed in AFD. I realized after I made the move request that it should really just be deleted. 217IP (talk) 18:41, 26 June 2015 (UTC)[reply]

According to WP:1E, articles like this should be about the event itself (the murder) rather than a biography of the murderer. An example would be Death_of_Caylee_Anthony and how it is based on the event, not Casey Anthony herself (who doesn't seem to even have an article despite being much more notable than Ms. Rodriguez). 217IP (talk) 04:13, 22 June 2015 (UTC)[reply]
