Wikifying[edit]

This article needs some editorial attention:

  • Proper links to Wiki subjects (Wiki articles instead of outside links)
  • References (footnotes)
  • Fixup of links to outside websites

Missing Information[edit]

As Baswedan became a more important political figure in Indonesia, a lot of information is missing. I will attempt to translate and add information from the Wikipedia Indonesia page. Maybeitschris (talk) 20:56, 20 April 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Not only the above still not done - but external links is unnecessary SatuSuro 11:27, 22 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

A link to the the Jakarta Post website (http://www.thejakartapost.com/news/2010/05/03/anies-baswedan-listed-world-figure.html), is for a paid subscription. This is hard for others to see and check for themselves. Maybeitschris (talk) 20:57, 20 April 2017 (UTC)[reply]

@Maybeitschris: See this archived version of the above URL on the Wayback Machine, it does not require paid subscription. Hanif Al Husaini (talk) 10:23, 22 April 2017 (UTC)[reply]

POV[edit]

I put the POV tag because I think that this article needs to be thoroughly reworked. Muhraz (talk) 05:21, 22 October 2017 (UTC)[reply]

@Muhraz: This article still need more work but it doesn't need POV tag. Just because this small edit from an IP user, you erase one paragraph from the lead section. Hddty. (talk) 10:07, 22 October 2017 (UTC)[reply]
@Hddty.: Yeah, the original paragraph is full of redundancies, unnecessary, and highly biased. Not that kind of stuff you'll want to put in the lead section of a BLP. Muhraz (talk) 11:49, 22 October 2017 (UTC)[reply]

The graph showing sections of Jakarta that voted for him is blatant POV. Such graphs for other politicians include a key that explains what the OTHER colors mean: which OTHER candidates won those districts. This is done on the election page itself. Come to think of it, why is the graph here at all? The text has sufficient details. Anyone who wants to know about districts can go to the article on the election, which provides a key to ALL the colors in the graph. Martindo (talk) 09:35, 26 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]
