Accuracy and Depth

[edit]

After reading the French Wiki counterpart, this one seems rather lacking in information. I corrected one error (Flavius did not bring the anise seed, but merely reported that monks made candies out of it), but perhaps the pages should be linked. --68.197.188.233 (talk) 18:52, 8 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]

After reading the French Wiki counterpart, I find the current article a faithful translation of the current introduction to the french article. The rest of the current french article talks about the origins of anise, the process of making dragees and what prizes the manufacturers have won. I'm not going to add some minor details, but all the background information is available in other English articles and the rest sounds too much like advertisement for my taste. --BjKa (talk) 15:33, 12 May 2014 (UTC)[reply]
