Updates needed[edit]

I can't find any sources in English to say whether construction was ever started, delayed, or completed. Article says the airport was scheduled to open last year. I expect there are Chinese sources that can bring this article up to date; hopefully an editor with access can update the article. Schazjmd (talk) 17:41, 18 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]

New Edition to Correct and Update Information[edit]

Hello Fellow Wikipedians,
I've made several updates to the article to reflect available information in Chinese about the airport:

  1. Though named Fuqiang Airport, the Airport is actually located in Wuli Town of Hanbin District. The former Fuqiang Township was annexed by Wuli Town in 2011, and therefore no longer exists. Changes were made to reflect this piece of information;
  2. Details were added about the cost, project start date, construction start date, and designed airport capacity according to local government statement online;
  3. Information about the start of commercial service was added (first commercial flight) according to news and government statement.

I expect to expand this article a bit more to cover the commercial service operated at the airport and the background of its construction.
Cheers. --Lawrenceinpek (talk) 19:35, 3 October 2020 (UTC)[reply]
