Before you do anything drastic here, know that I'll be working on some sources. I just got the New Yorker link to open because Adobe was doing an update and bolixing it up. What you can gather from the NY article is some support for what I wrote. This article is important to me, and it will reach that goal we are both looking for. Nanabozho 08:00, 16 June 2007 (UTC)

The first paragraph of this article is an apparent copyright violation of http://www.greenslit.net/Ann_Greenslade_Pudeator.php. Please read Wikipedia's copyright policy. You should acknowledge the reference and make a statement on this page that you have the copyright owner's permission to use this material, or (better) you should rewrite it in your own words. Otherwise someone else is going to spot it and possibly delete the article. andy 08:23, 16 June 2007 (UTC)

Thank you Andy. I forgot about this. That's my page. I'm going to put something on it blog (it has the same domain name) that I think will prove it's mine. I am sorry about this, and would appreciate some guidance here. And by the way, I am working on references this evening. Nanabozho 03:37, 17 June 2007 (UTC)

Hi! Where did you get the picture of Ann's gravestone?Kosobucm (talk) 20:31, 12 October 2019 (UTC)kosobucm
It's not a picture of her gravestone. It's a picture of the memorial bench with her name on it that's part of the Salem Witch Trials Memorial. See here. - Nunh-huh 10:27, 13 October 2019 (UTC)

Ann's Name

The most used name for her is Pudeator. However, as far as I know, no Pudeators descend from her. She's more of a Greenslit than a Pudeator because of her blood ties. I admit that the trial records probably completely refer to her as Ann Pudeator. But is it better for WP if we include the name Greenslit in her name? I can't believe this is the first time this issue has come up? Any references to the other cases WP has looked at would be appreciated. Nanabozho 03:29, 18 June 2007 (UTC)

The general rule is to use the name by which a person is most commonly known, and so Ann Pudeator is where she belongs. But I'll make the appropriate redirects from Ann Greenslit Pudeator, Ann Greenslit, Ann Greenslade Pudeator and Ann Greenslade. Nothing from her maiden name, since we don't have it! - Nunh-huh 05:23, 18 June 2007 (UTC)

Many genealogy sites show Ann with the maiden name of Poynter or Poindexter, daughter of Thomas Poynter/Poindester and Margaret Coke. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 70.181.20.249 (talk) 05:34, 15 October 2009 (UTC)

Lee Greenslit

The question might be, does he rate a mention? He helped and helps bring the past to the present, and was a vital reason for the "Poor Ann", New Yorker article. In some ways Ann was never more known then when that article came out. And Lee Greenslit caused it. I am still thinking of ways to bring out more of the New Yorker article.
