Comment[edit]

When the US government was headquartered in Philadelphia during the Washington and John Adams administrations, this woman liked to hang out with all the politicians and had a scandalous reputation. error[edit]

That image on the left is the wrong women if the notes of the image itself are correct. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 96.57.23.82 (talk) 20:13, 22 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]

i agree the image and the refernce is totally wrong. this image is of Hon. Anne Bingham, daughter of Charles Bingham, 1st Earl of Lucan. When her father became the Earl her title became Lady Anne Bingham. Her sister, Lady Lavinia Bingham, married the 2nd Earl of Spencer descendant of Princess Diana. The painting is housed by the Spencer family. Althorp. This is not Ann Willing Bingham they are two entirely different people. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 112.198.77.60 (talk) 02:52, 8 June 2015 (UTC)[reply]
