Can anyone explain Anna H. Shaw's relationship to Lucy E. Anthony? Were they lovers for 30 years? I noticed an obituary article from the Harrisburg Telegraph, (Harrisburg, PA), Jul 3, 1919, Page 7 that seemed to state they were partners beyond in work. Lucy was at her bedside at her death. It was quite common for women with means to have ladies in waiting and companions of a non-romantic nature. No sourcing exists to say she was anything but that. We will never know! Missvain (talk) 07:14, 8 January 2020 (UTC)[reply]
