Untitled[edit]

Hello everyone, if you have any ideas on finding articles concerning Yoder or her career please post them. I am completing a research project for a History of Science class and would love any additional information to flesh out this article. Thus far, I have drafted a lead section and awards section. Hey Tyler! I think your article is off to a really good start. You have solid sources and your lead section introduces Dr. Yoder very well. I did a Google search on Dr. Yoder and I can see that there are not a ton of sources available. I might suggest putting some of the information from your lead section into the career and biography sections to get those started. Also, I'm not sure if you're looking for extra sources, but I found a few that you might want to use. For selected publications, her Google Scholar page could help: https://scholar.google.com/citations?user=aZxSckcAAAAJ&hl=en&oi=sra. Biography section[edit]

Hi Tyler! You are off to a great start as well! I couldn't find any wording or grammar that I thought needed improvement so far. I think you could be a little bit stuck in your biography section like I am with my research on Jane Wright. It is just so hard to find a source of biographical information that doesn't contain bias. I saw it in the training and it was repeated on the message boards, I think reading a biography or several sources of biographical information then writing notes and then going back again and looking at the original source for dates and places that are too hard too remember without directly checking the source works best. I do like the framework you have set up so far. It looks like it should work well with expanding upon.

I am very impressed with how you've planned this WIkipedia article and how much research you've already done. The extensive list of awards is really cool information as well. I saw what all you have planned to add, and I think your article will be very informative and efficient especially since there isn't an article on this person yet. Personally for me, finding information about my scientist's biography and personal life has been a challenge. If you are able to find some information on that, it would be great to add to your biography section. Some of the information in your lead section becomes very specific towards the end, and I think that may be better suited for another section in the article. Tyler, I felt like this article has a nice encyclopedic tone, so great job there! I also felt like you did well using neutral sources to present accurate information about the work of Yoder. One minor thing I thought you could change to extend the biography section a little bit would be including where she lived, where she went to school, where she moved for her career, and such things in this particular section. Maybe adding something about her interests in this section as well will help extend it! In the career section you could include the order of which she began taking up certain research projects or interests in the medical field if you can find sources about this. I found your article to be very helpful to further the work being done on my own article, my scientist also has very minimal information about her and it has made it hard for me to see how I will explain her work without making it too complex for Wikipedia. Seeing that you were able to pull very specific work she has done without being overly complicated in explaining it has helped me see an example of what I could do for my article! Great job so far!
