Source for life history

[edit]

The source for the life history of Dr Schot is from the peer-reviewed publication Blumea, an authoritative journal on botany. As with all academics, but particularly women academics, their lives outside their academic work is often difficult to find information about. In this biography we are able to see a classic example of the casualized and broken career of women academics. Brunswicknic (talk) 12:18, 24 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]

From what I could see, every reference listed was at least in part authored by the subject. The article overall would benefit from some additional independant sources. -Kj cheetham (talk) 08:32, 26 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]
I repeat, Blumea (journal), a major international first-class peer-reviewed wiki-articled botany journal, published biographical details. You noted that the references leading to some of her publications indicate that these publications are authored by her, the publications by the subject are authored by the subject.
