Untitled[edit]

In expanding this article, I have chosen to refer to Anne Malet de Graville d'Entragues by her first name, Anne, as is the custom in French scholarship. Since "Malet de Graville d'Entragues" are names that reference where Anne and her family and husband are from, the "surname" is not very indicative of the individual. No familiarity or other slight is meant by using her first name in this article, just scholarly custom. *Yseut229* (talk) 21:42, 10 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Married maid of honor?[edit]

How could she be maid of honor to queen Claude while being married? The position of maid of honor was reserved for unmarried women. Is this some confusion of the facts?--Aciram (talk) 13:59, 29 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]

In French wiki she is listed as Dame du Palais (then called dame d'honneur) and not as fille d'honneur (maid of honor) : https://fr.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dame_du_Palais#Claude_de_France_(1499-1524)_[5] .--Aciram (talk) 14:01, 29 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]
