Time[edit]

What is the song's time (3-4; 4-4; 6-8 or ?)? —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 211.225.34.167 (talk) 10:25, 8 April 2007 (UTC).[reply]

It's 3/4. 91.105.39.240 20:21, 4 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Fureys[edit]

The Fureys did a great cover of this song. I feel that they deserve mention in the covers section. I'll add them if no-one is opposed. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Arawn (talkcontribs) 23:02, 10 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Tchaikovsky’s Fifth Symphony[edit]

Author Daniel J. Levitin wrote that John Denver added lyrics to Tchaikovsky’s Fifth Symphony to create Annie's Song. Can anyone confirm? http://www.sixsongs.net/ —Preceding unsigned comment added by Dblanchard (talkcontribs) 20:21, 27 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

  • Not quite. The first five notes are the same (and in the same key) but not much more. 90.218.197.249 (talk) 22:56, 14 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Cover versions in Finnish[edit]

There are multiple recorded versions in Finnish of this song, of which Ville Valo's is just the newest. The lyrics in Finnish (Olet mun kaikuluotain) date back to 1976 and the song has been performed by at least Freeman in 1976 and possibly others after that. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 88.115.181.53 (talk) 21:45, 14 July 2016 (UTC)[reply]
