Merge[edit]

This should be merged with "Annie Taylor." I think the title should be either "Anna Edson Taylor" or "Annie Taylor" but with enough re-directs so that all three give searchers the article. I suppose there is some Wik policy to guide us. Kdammers 01:52, 22 September 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Birth date[edit]

I am curious where You got the date of birth, Etoile. Records in Bay City (including requests from New York for information) did not indicate an established year of birth (at least when we searched back around 1980). Kdammers 01:52, 22 September 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Also, if she was born in 1838 and died in 1921, she couldn't possibly have been 65 at her time of death.

oops[edit]

I inadvertently clicked "rollback" rather than undo when I removed a relatively large amount of material earlier today and so lost the ability to leave an edit summary. My reason for reverting the article was because the new material consisted almost in its entirety of copied and pasted text from a copyrighted source:[1] cheers Deconstructhis (talk) 02:15, 24 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Self-contradictory[edit]

If the barrel disappeared permanently (as in the "later life" section), what barrel is at the IMax (in the image)? Banedon (talk) 01:47, 18 November 2016 (UTC)[reply]

It's a mock-up barrell. Codyorb (talk) 16:43, 3 April 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Vandalism[edit]

Some vandalism has remained in the article after the recent "funny" edits: in the introduction we have "in bet spongboblocales", which used to be in between jobs and locales; the "we bear bears" section title, which used to be Niagara Falls, and in that section "grizz", "panda" and "ice bear" randomly, plus the sentence "Also she hates her husband Albert". Also, the part which begins with the sentence "Annie Edson Taylor was born on October 24" used to have a section title: Early life. There may be more, but these are what I have found. It seems to me that the last non-vandalised version was this one: https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Annie_Edson_Taylor&diff=prev&oldid=835484847. The article is semi-protected right now, could someone please remove them? 80.98.72.8 (talk) 01:20, 14 June 2018 (UTC)[reply]

I think you're right, and have amended the article. Banedon (talk) 01:30, 14 June 2018 (UTC)[reply]
