I came upon this article and saw that it had no references, so I looked up the information in a magazine article and a TV directory of shows, added a few sentences, and began the Reference section. I own the 1958 Annie Oakley in Double Trouble novel published by Whitman, saw another Annie title listed in the back, and found an earlier Annie book listed in a Whitman reference book. I added a Books section, with the three titles I knew about. --Karenthewriter (talk) 15:00, 28 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]

The early Atlas Annie Oakley comics CANNOT have been based on the TV-series for chronological reasons. I have no access to the later ones, so could somebody who knows about that improve the comics section?ThW5 (talk) 09:49, 4 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Number of episodes

[edit]

At first, we are told that "a total of 81 black-and-white episodes were produced." Afterwards, we are told that "approximately two thousand episodes lapsed into the public domain and are currently available on DVD." (Since the show ran from January of 1954 to February of 1956, this would amount to almost twenty episodes a week!) Kostaki mou (talk) 03:31, 25 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Pixie?

[edit]

Do we know for a fact that Tagg's pinto pony was really named Pixie on the show? I only ask because the main horse used (there were two) was also called Pixie in real life and there may be some confusion there. https://ponymansdaughter.wordpress.com/2014/02/09/pixie-the-pony-who-outran-annie-oakley/
