I've removed this:

colon cancer, which had originated as testicular cancer

, since it is clearly a mis-statement - probably meaning that the cause of death was testicular cancer, and that it had metastasized to the colon. I can't find the correct information (on the web), though, so it would be best to leave unstated till there's a citable reference. - Nunh-huh 07:34, 3 September 2005 (UTC)[reply]

His cancer was fibrosarcoma which metatasized to his lungs, this is per Carole Radziwill's book What Remains. He had testicular cancer years before and had been in remission for years.

I'm appalled at the desparately poor quality and extremely unencyclopaedic tone of this article. Is it ever likely to improve? —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 161.72.5.43 (talkcontribs) 01:03, 26 October 200 (UTC).

You are aware that you have the power to improve this "desparately [sic] poor" article, aren't you? You might start by signing your own posts and spelling the words in your own comments correctly. --Crunch (talk) 15:08, 2 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

May one cut some of the c.?

[edit]

Most of the "Illness" section sounds like gossip or at least like a collection of mildly disjointed, certainly unencyclopedic touchy-feely Kennedy anecdotes. A good part of it is unsourced, too. I'd hack at the whole thing, but I thought I'd ask before I kick the usual hornets' nest. Complainer (talk) 11:46, 18 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Timing

[edit]

The wording of the paragraph re: his "Illness and Death" states that during the time he and his wife lived in New York and he was battling the recurrence of his cancer, he became especially close to his Aunt Jackie. However, she died (in 1994) before he was married (in 1995). Or perhaps he became close after he was first diagnosed with cancer in 1989? It's not clear. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 165.189.255.35 (talk) 18:25, 6 April 2017 (UTC)[reply]
