Is the historical background necessary?[edit]

I feel that it's a little too detailed for what one needs when looking at/reading about it. There is already Terrorism in the Philippines perhaps we can just redirect people there. Sabaybayin (talk) 09:48, 5 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]

To be honest, I had trouble shortening it too - this is already the result of my attempts to shorten it, although shortening things isn't one of my strengths. I do think some effort should be made into shortening it without removing important historical context, not just in terms of Terrorism in the Philippines, but very importantly Red-tagging in the Philippines, since that's a practice around which many objections resolve. Also... I don't know what the term for the Moro equivalent is, but that's the basis for the BARMM objection. - Chieharumachi (talk) 03:43, 6 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Do we really have to list every vote?[edit]

Other similarly controversial laws do not do so. Howard the Duck (talk) 00:08, 10 December 2021 (UTC)[reply]

It's useful information. Listing the same kind of information on other similarly controversial laws would be of good use. -Object404 (talk) 03:49, 10 December 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Seriously? Patriot Act doesn't list it. Sure, on articles for politicians, it does, but here? Isn't this classic WP:NOT#DIRECTORY? Howard the Duck (talk) 12:18, 10 December 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Do we really have to list every petition?[edit]

I mean, I get the law is the most petitioned law there is (more than Javellana vs. Executive Secretary?) in the Philippines, but do we have to painstakingly add every one? Howard the Duck (talk) 15:29, 10 December 2021 (UTC)[reply]
